Responsible gambling at Duel

Duel does the maths in the open: house edges, rakeback percentages and daily caps are published. That makes it easy to work out what a session really costs you. Use that transparency the way it was meant — before you deposit, not after.

Set your loss limit first

Write down a figure you can afford to lose before your first deposit, and stop when you reach it. Duel runs on crypto, so money moves through digital wallets rather than cards or bank transfers. Your bank statement will show no gambling spend at all, which makes it very easy to lose track of what you have actually lost. Keep your own tally.

Duel has no welcome bonus. What it offers instead is 50% of the house edge back as rakeback, credited instantly on every bet with no wagering requirement and no expiry. Read the other half of that sentence: you still lose the other 50%. A slot with a 4% edge nets you about 2% after rakeback. Over thousands of bets the house still wins. Rakeback slows the loss; it does not reverse it.

Duel mechanicWhat it actually returns
Rakeback on slots (4% edge)About 2% edge net to the house
Duel Originals edge0.1%, plus daily zero-edge allowance
Zero-edge cap$1,000 per bet, $50,000 per day
Leaderboard rewards$25,000 daily, $2,000,000 monthly, tied to volume

The zero-edge mode is not an edge

Duel Originals run a 0.1% edge, and a daily zero-edge allowance applies up to $1,000 per bet and $50,000 per day. It is a retention tool, not a winning strategy. There is no VIP ladder, but public leaderboards pay $25,000 daily and $2,000,000 monthly on volume. Those rewards reward betting more, not betting better. If a leaderboard is the reason you are still playing, that is the moment to stop.

Two or more of these deserves a conversation with someone. More on how we monitor ourselves at /responsible-gambling.
